My name is Jayresa (lovingly pronounced as Jay-Re-Suh). Originally hailing from the vibrant streets of Brooklyn, NY, I now call the soulful city of Atlanta, Georgia, my home. As a mother of two beautiful children and the proud caretaker of two cats and a dog, my days are filled with love and laughter.

My journey with crochet began in the innocence of childhood, but it was during a season of darkness that its true power unfolded before me. Struggling with the weight of seasonal depression, I discovered solace and strength within the rhythm of hook and yarn. With each stitch, I wove my way through the darkness, finding light and hope in the simple act of creation. It was during these moments that Crochepeutic was born, a beacon of light amidst life's storms.

Crochepeutic is more than just a business; it is a vessel of hope and healing, a sanctuary where creativity and compassion intertwine. Through teaching beginners' classes, hosting virtual meetups, and providing resources, I aim to extend the healing power of crochet to others.
